Project Overview
Gurado is a CRM platform that provides and manages vouchers and gift cards for retailers. Gourmetage required an extension to connect their shop with Gurado for synchronizing voucher and gift card products.
The client needed changes made to vouchers and gift cards in Gurado’s system to reflect in their shop, with orders transferred directly to Gurado CRM. They also requested features to track and filter voucher and gift card orders within the admin panel.
Key Challenges
Ensuring Real-Time Synchronization:
Synchronizing voucher and gift card products between Gurado and the shop posed a significant challenge. Changes made to vouchers and gift cards in Gurado’s system needed to reflect instantly in the shop to avoid discrepancies or delays in product availability.
Reliable Order Transmission:
The client required all vouchers and gift cards order details, to be sent to Gurado CRM without errors. Ensuring the precise transfer of these details was a challenging task.
Admin Panel Functionality:
Providing tools to track and filter voucher and gift card orders in the admin panel was essential. Creating a solution that integrated seamlessly into the existing system while ensuring usability was a complex requirement.
Our Approach
Developing a Custom Connector:
We built a connector using REST APIs to link the shop with Gurado’s system. It fetched voucher and gift card data, including media, and displayed it on product detail pages.

Order Integration:
When customers placed orders, the connector sent all details to Gurado CRM immediately. It also retrieved shipping and envelope fees directly from the Gurado system.
Order Validation and Status Updates:
The custom connector was designed to examine the line items in each order. It ensures that the status for voucher and gift card orders is set to true, streamlining order tracking and management within the system.
Results and Achievements
Seamless Synchronization
The connector ensured all voucher and gift card products stayed updated in the shop, reflecting changes made in Gurado.
Accurate Order Handling
Order details, including shipping and fees, synced instantly with Gurado CRM, maintaining consistency across systems.
